Seawater Desalination

Seawater desalination and power plant solutions typically involve two main technologies: Reverse Osmosis (RO), which uses semi-permeable membranes to filter out salt, solids and all unhealthy pathogens and microbes, and thermal desalination, which uses heat to evaporate and condense water.

Power plants often use RO or thermal methods, sometimes integrated with existing facilities to utilize process heat, or to meet their own water needs, with solutions tailored to the specific requirements of capacity, water quality, and energy availability.
